Job Description

The Human Resources Trainee will support the Human Resources Team, taking an active part in the daily working activities and processes of the Bogotá office and offering administrative support as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Support logistics and organization of recruiting events, including relations with students
  • Ensure follow-up of recruiting events, including student feedback surveys, asking for inputs from BCG staff on student attendees
  • Maintain database on all aspects of the recruiting cycle
  • Assist organization and scheduling of recruiting process, coordinating candidates and interviewers attendance
  • Generate and maintain up to date candidate packs, interviewer folders, hand-outs, interviewer biographies, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to team, including Recruiting Directors, Recruiting Manager, and School Captains

  • Request evaluations for staff according to ongoing projects
  • Support the collection and analysis of staff potential assessments (twice a year)
  • Support organization and logistics of career development process and meetings
  • Online database update


(staffing is the allocation of staff in ongoing projects)

  • Maintain and manage the HR database
  • Maintain formal communication with the teams (staffing email)
  • Support on the collection and update of staffing biographies
  • Support in regular and ad-hoc staffing reporting
  • Keeping track of the staffing dashboards (weekly)
  • Opening case feedback surveys

General Human Resources:

  • Produce powerpoint presentations, reports and other documentation
  • Run best practices benchmarks from other BCG offices
  • Additional tasks as needed to support the HR team (induction, training, mobility, administration, etc.)


  • Last year of Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) both in Spanish and English
  • Passionate about Human Resources
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
