Duties and Responsibilities

The Search Consultant is responsible for new business development, client engagement, project and relationship management as it relates to Search.  Given Kensington’s business model, Consultants will interact with Leadership Development and Career Transition/Outplacement Consultants and support personnel on a regular basis and could/should be referring in appropriate individuals in to client organizations on a regular basis to further penetrate accounts.  First and foremost, Kensington International’s Consultants are business development professionals. As engagements are secured, Consultants then work directly with client personnel (typically the hiring manager and a representative within human resources) to develop an understanding of the client’s needs and to then develop and deliver upon search strategies.   He/she must have an ability to translate requirements into a project plan and implement effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree at a minimum.
  • A minimum of five to seven-plus years of business development, project management and relationship management experience with demonstrated results in his or her sector.

Initial compensation package will include a negotiated draw, an automobile allowance and a quarterly bonus payout that is tied to sales.
