Chicago-based TalentRISE is a rapidly growing full-service executive search and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm. Our diverse portfolio of clients and projects span all industries, functions and levels – no two clients are alike, so every day is an adventure.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Recruiting Specialist who is process driven, detail oriented, nimble, creative and passionate about talent. We are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition is a key component of any Human Resources function. Through your work experience at TalentRISE, you will learn all about: talent attraction and sourcing, employment branding and messaging, recruiting tools, job marketing & technology as well as be exposed to best practices in candidate selection. assessments and offer negotiation.

Recruiting is a team sport at TalentRISE and we win together as the result of flawless and organized execution. The Recruiting Specialist will provide day to day support to ensure client satisfaction while achieving client goals, as well as our own. Specifically, your job will look like this:


  • Develop superior people management skills by working directly with candidates, coaching them through interview stages, and gain the satisfaction of helping them find life altering career opportunities

  • Partner with and gain exposure to Fortune 500 clients from all industries by performing various services, including:
    • Develop and execute talent sourcing strategies, including leveraging job sites to drive diverse candidate pools (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Indeed, Facebook, Dice, ZipRecruiter, university & niche industry websites)
    • Database management in various applicant tracking systems
    • Schedule candidate interviews and follow ups
    • Update information within company databases and help with client reporting
  • Ad hoc talent and client projects, e.g. assist in the creation of standard client reports


  • BS/BA degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 1+ year of work experience in a people/customer-oriented environment, such as customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, non-profit
  • Demonstrated leadership and multi-tasking experience, i.e. involvement in student organizations, athletics, volunteer work
  • Great energy and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with creative problem solving and using that skill set to make good decisions
  • Self-starter with an assertive and proactive personality
  • Being technology savvy with applications like MS Suite, Google tools, social media, and process mapping software would put you ahead in the candidate pool
  • Must be local and able to work onsite in our downtown Chicago office
  • Must be able to work permanently in the US without restrictions
