Job Description

The Organization Design Business Process Director will identify, design and manage process improvements that enhance capabilities across brands, regions, functions and channels and deliver improved operational efficiency and effectiveness. The role will be responsible for business process design and improvement projects from conceptualization through change implementation including problem definition, process mapping, data analysis, process analysis, recommendations, change implementation, and establishment of performance tracking (controls).

Duties and Responsibilities

This role will support global organizational design and development strategies for Leading Beauty Forward to ensure alignment, integration and effectiveness. The individual in this role will partner closely with the other Directors on the team and with our brands, regions, functions, channels and shared services on organizational design needs for specific Leading Beauty Forward initiatives. Individuals in this role should be comfortable applying new methodologies to business process design, including design thinking, to achieve breakthrough results. This includes data gathering, work process (re)design, gap analysis, identifying key process metrics and recommendations for continuous performance.

This role is suited to a dynamic and adaptable learner with the desire to drive tangible results and who is able to forge strong partnerships, delivering through influencing and collaborating with others. While in this role, the individual will also be able to build knowledge and experience in organization design and change management, as well as process expertise across Brands, Regions, Functions and Channels.

  • Collaborate closely with OD and Change, HR Business Partners and business partners to perform process flow mapping, identify issues and opportunities, form hypotheses, collect and analyze data, analyze processes, synthesize conclusions, develop solutions, identify alternatives, make recommendations, and work with the business unit and IT (as necessary) for change management implementation 50 – 75%
  • Develop and deploy (e.g., coach and train key stakeholders) methodology for work process design and implementation 25 – 50%

oOutline and document steps in the process, including key interview questions and facilitator guide / tools

oDocument best in class templates used in the process

oDocument tips, key metrics and best practices

  • Serve as a process consultant / advisor to other departments on an as needed basis; share process improvement methodologies and project management tools. Coach HR Business Partners and others key stakeholders in the business on our work process methodology – on going as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum Education level: Undergraduate
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 8
  • Travel Time:0-25%

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Six sigma training and process mapping experienced required and design thinking training preferred
  • Required Language Proficiency:English
