Job Description


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interface with potential acquisition targets to assist in gathering due diligence information
  • Assist with developing business cases for potential acquisition targets
  • Help coordinate the due diligence process; pulling in appropriate resources
  • Review and analyze diligence materials for cost impacts and integration concerns
  • Assemble HR materials for divestiture and provide follow up responses to inquiries
  • Support M&A transactions from sourcing through integration
  • Assist in the development and documentation of M&A processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
  • In conjunction with the HR Director, develop project plan and timeline for HR integration activities; track against deliverables
  • Coordinate cross-functional HR integration meetings to ensure dependencies are covered and planned for accordingly
  • Assist with preparation of materials/templates for presentations
  • Serve as general project management expert for miscellaneous HR initiatives on an as needed basis and help instill & oversee disciplined project execution within the HR function
  • Coordinate the execution of significant initiatives/enterprise-wide projects that are sponsored by the SR HRLT & align with the long-term HR strategy (typically 1-3 large projects at any time)
  • Leverage both HR COE members and HR generalists in the design, execution and deployment of work

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and operate with a  level of autonomy
  • Adaptability to working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, growing and demanding environment
  • Prior project management experience required; change management experience preferred
  • Prior HR M&A experience strongly preferred
  • Prior HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Prior experience with HRIS
  • Handle highly-sensitive, confidential information with discretion
  • Intermediate to advanced level skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project preferred
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree required
  • Ability to travel 20-25% as required
