Job Description

Lead the creation and implementation of executive leadership development and high potential leadership development.  Directly engage the business units on contemporary learning methodologies that accelerate achieving McKesson business strategies.  Enhance and create high potential development to extend deeper into the talent pipeline and accelerate the readiness of the talent pool.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evolve and continue to deliver current high potential development courses.
  • Evaluate future needs for high potential development to accelerate McKesson business strategies
  • Engage the business units to fully use contemporary learning metohdologies.
  • Assess and select best in class vendors to deliver in McKesson globally
  • Lead team of Executive and high potential development staff including selection of open positions
  • Partner on the development of assessment tools for selection into courses
  • Establish dashboard and evaluation data that supports learning ROI

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years organizational development/human resources or related work experience

Critical Skills

  • Previous experience leading executive and/or high potential development
  • Proven skills leading a team from concept to delivery
  • Previous work experience assessing stakeholder needs, developing solutions and delivering on them.
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience with executive and/or high potential development
  • Proven skills leading development courses for executive audiences in a global environment
  • Extensive knowledge and relationships with contemporary executive and high potential development vendors
  • Ability to build strategies, content and deliver to key stakeholders

Education

  • BS/BA required
  • Masters or PhD/EdD in executive development, human development or other related area of study preferred
