Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to develop and lead a new training team responsible for needs assessment, design, preparation and delivery of training for our Business Strategy & Marketing organization. Key responsibilities include onboarding and skills programs as well as training and adoption related to MarTech, Measurement and more. Oversees content, methods, and materials as well as program evaluation. Interface with and support all marketing business units — Brand, Industries, Demand Generation, AME and Education.

Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates should be experienced in training and have proven success leading a team of professionals. Should have creative and strategic capabilities with strong communications skills. Marketing background is preferred. This role reports to the Director, Enablement & Training.

Design & Prepare 

  • Assess current and future training needs for the Business Strategy & Marketing organizations, including onboarding, skills and technical training
  • Specify the learning objectives and associated details of content to support learning paths for various marketing roles
  • Oversee marketing skills curriculum develop, leveraging SMEs, 3rd party resources and other internal resources
  • Oversee development of onboarding program, catering to each organization within marketing
  • Effectively train and leverage internal marketing service team on platforms impacting their work, and to extend the reach of the training team
  • Responsible for training/change management plan to support roll-out and drive adoption of MarTech changes and new Marketing Performance dashboards
  • Develop consistent tools and sharing platforms for training materials
  • Liaise with key executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for marketing curriculum and program adoption

Implement & Drive Adoption 

  • Manage the development and/or purchase content to fulfill learning path requirements
  • Ensure documentation of all existing marketing processes to drive consistency and effectiveness
  • Drive engagement with training programs
  • Responsible for marketing adoption of relevant tools and processes

Miscellaneous

  • Opportunity to build a new training team within a new Marketing Enablement & Change Management organization, reporting into Marketing Operations
  • Report to Director, Training & Enablement
  • Build and manage team of training professionals to deliver effective training and adoption across all teams and GEOs in the marketing organization

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience developing training programs and leading a team of high-performers
  • Experience as a marketer or working within a marketing organization is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of how to drive adoption throughout an organization
  • 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Business, or Marketing; or equivalent experience
  • Excellent writing skills, editing skills, and command of spelling, grammar and syntax rules
