The HR Generalist will collaborate as needed across the HR organization and with business partners to define and execute special projects, new business mergers & acquisitions, and HR Analytics. Will be responsible for several HR related processes requiring a high degree of confidentiality, HRIS system proficiency working across multiple departments, functions and business partners.

The desired candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management. As needed, the position will support associate hiring and onboarding activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Special project as assigned including but not limited to engagement survey champion; MIT program administration; Various inclusion activities and coordination of regular work stream meetings
  • Drive communications throughout process from an HR perspective to business partners, as well as preparation and coordination of employee communications
  • Identify, leverage, and integrate current technology in order to increase effectiveness of internal and external HR communication
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements and maintain a record
  • Assist with new unit openings and acquisitions
  • Standardized HR process and practices across the sectors
  • Investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues that arise either as an escalation from the HR Service Center or as a result of a direct request from operations
  • Content expert regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support associate satisfaction survey interpretation/feedback process and action planning and follow-up
  • Build and coordinate an HR working group in support of the transaction to drive a clear and efficient execution process
  • Identify client needs and evaluate new and/or alternative business solutions to meet business objectives
  • May manage vendor relationships related to specific projects to ensure alignment and integrity of the vendor relationship Influence
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
  • Monitor and track HR Assessments completion and advise operations on areas of improvement


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min 2 years of Human Resources or equivalent combination of related degree and experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with an ability to distill information to the clearest points
  • Understanding technical terminology that relates to business environment/information technology systems
  • Possess excellent judgment and an ability to balance multiple tasks
  • Personable, with ability to finesse a situation and build consensus among business partners
  • Proficient with data management and reporting (able to define, gather and synthesize data from multiple sources to produce analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Thorough attention to detail with excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio, Outlook, Microsoft Project and SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Some travel required
